Kingswood is a charming old house, situated on the quiet Old Lake Rd a two minute walk from Amblesides shops and restaurants and a ten minute stroll from Lake Windermere.

David and Christine will make you welcome and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. From the time you pull into the car park, with views of the charming houses of Ambleside and Loughrigg Fell, until you leave you will be able to relax and unwind into a slower pace of life.

There is off street parking for all guests and safe storage for bikes.

The house is tastefully modernised and furnished to a high standard, whilst retaining the character of a Lakeland home. It is fully central heated and there is a warm atmosphere throughout. Careful attention is paid to the decorative details that make the public areas so attractive

Our Bee and Bee theme adds interest and humour.We now have a Wireless Internet Connection ( Wi-Fi) - The Bernsteins from Chicago were very impressed at being able to keep in contact with family at home.
